Sophisticated and deliberate - this is how Chef Eric Leveillee has defined the 5 and 11 course tasting menus available at Marigold Kitchen. His cuisine is best described as New Nordic and focuses heavily on using solely seasonally relevant ingredients that are sourced locally - often within a few blocks of the restaurant.
Half Tastings are available Tuesday through Thursday for $50 and Full Tastings are available daily for $100 per person and most allergies can be accommodated.
The 14-15 course extended New Years tasting menu will be $125 and will be served exclusively on Sat 12/29 through Mon 12/31. A card will be required to book and cancellations within 24 hours will be charged the full amount during the NYE weekend.
Gift Cards are available by email or phone and are redeemable for 1 year.
With a degree in economics from Temple University, Eric Leveillee began his cooking career with Jen Zavala at El Camino Real when the market crashed in 2008. He moved back to his native New England with a stint at the James Beard nominated Cook and Brown and in Providence, RI. But, Philadelphia has always had a strange pull on Leveillee. So, he returned after two years and began working with James Beard Winner Greg Vernick at Vernick Food & Drink and most recently with Jeremy Nolen at Whetstone Tavern, as executive chef.
